Volunteering

Without our loyal and dedicated volunteers our Centre would be unable to support the number of people who want to participate in our activities. The opportunities to contribute to the ongoing success of the Centre and its achievements are unlimited.

Volunteers lead horses, support riders during lessons, groom and prepare horses for classes and help to look after them when they are not in the school. Others become involved in the activities including fund raising, ground and builiding maintenance and serving as a Trustee.

What are the benefits of volunteering?

People volunteer for lots of different reasons and many of our volunteers go through life changing experiences themselves. Many volunteers develop new skills and confidence through their work with us and go on to enjoy a quality of life which was previously not possible.

Some of our volunteers require support to allow them to fulfil their volunteering and we aim to ensure that everyone who wants to volunteer can be involved in some way.

Over the years our volunteers have reported the following benefits:

  • Positive impact on your community
  • Learn and develop a new skill and improve confidence
  • Meet a diverse range of people
  • Boost your employability
  • Be outside in the fresh air
  • Have fun!
