The Vaulting Club
What is the Equestian Vaulting?
Equestrian vaulting is gymnastic type exercises on horseback that can help develop balance, co-ordination, rhythm, suppleness, core strength and fitness. It is a fantastic team sport and yet allows the vaulter freedom to choose their own moves and work to music so develops independence and freedom of choice while in an inclusive and supportive environment.
What is the Vaulting Club?
Bannockburn RDA has received funding from Lloyds TSB foundation to develop a vaulting club and more opportunities to vault within the centre. This is a very exciting opportunity to start a new club and offer new opportunities to anyone who would like to vault.
When is the Vaulting Club
Vaulting Club sessions will be held on Sunday mornings from 10am till 12 noon and other opportunities will be offered up to schools through the week. We will start the new sessions from Sunday 27th of February and look forward to seeing you there.
How do I find out what's involved?
The Sundays of 27th February and the 6th March will be general ‘taster’ type sessions where you can come along, have a go and see if you would like to get involved.
How can I find out more information?
Anyone wishing to vault please contact the office on 01786 813338 or email vaulting@bannockburnrda.org.uk.
