Volunteering with Us

The Sauchieburn Centre is a wonderful facility, which offers a wide range of facilities to people with physical, interlectual and sensory disabilites, as well as people who need social or educational needs.

However, although the centre is ran by a small team staff, the centre is also reliant on a band of volunteers. Volunteers are essential to the running of the centre because without them, the centre would not function.

Volunteering can involve:
  • Helping with classes - sidewalking, leading
  • Helping out around the yard - skipping out, sweeping, etc
  • Maintenance jobs
  • Helping out with the cafe area
  • Fundraising - very important to the centre
  • and much much more

Volunteering with us can be an very exciting, rewarding and sometimes a humble experience. There is nothing better than seeing the joy on our clients faces when they receive an award, win a medal in a in-house competition, see them represent the centre at National level, or even represent Great Britain at an international event!

The best news is:

YOU CAN BE PART OF THIS EXPERIENCE

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, why don't you visit us, give us a call, email us, or fill out the form below - any help is always appreciated so why not help to fulfil personal potential!
